Show Notes: Notes: This was the second annual LonCon festival, and first festival since 2021 with two gap years in 2022 & 2023. LonCon had started under Jared & Jager's former band, Baked Shrimp who disbanded in late 2023-early 2024, and was revived with Big Shrimp for this edition at Wonderland Forest. Other acts on the festival included Mihali, Annie in the Water, Aliens Among Us, Escaper, Hilltop, Organ Fairchild, Gantzer, and more.

Show Notes: This was night one of Big Shrimp’s six-night residency at RoadRunner in Bridgeport, CT, dubbed the Black Rock Special. The food special for the evening was a “SHrImP of CRUELs SUMMER sMASH BURGER” presumably a reference to Grateful Dead (Ship of Fools) and Taylor Swift (Cruel Summer). The band donated a portion of proceeds from the evening to support Bridgeport Rescue Mission, and the evening was sponsored by Black Rock Vintage. Every night of the Black Rock Special also starts with a local Lucky Stars Talent Showcase, showcasing local talent. The band quoted “You Belong with Me” (Taylor Swift) prior to “Don’t Shoot the Messenger”.

Show Notes: This was night two of Big Shrimp's six-night residency at RoadRunner in Bridgeport, CT, dubbed the Black Rock Special. The food special for the evening was "Shrimp on the Barbie." As a result, the band saluted the special throughout the night with references to "Barbie" and Australian music artists (Men at Work and AC/DC). Matt's keyboards had a technical issue after "I'm Just Ken" resulting in a brief delay while Jared, Max, and Jager jammed.

Show Notes: This was Big Shrimp's first extravaganza, continuing a tradition originally started by Baked Shrimp presented by Sage Entertainment (7th Annual). "The Ghost and the Ghoul" contained narration referring to the Blues Brothers gag from Baked Shrimp in 2023. Jake and Elwood Blues, A.K.A. The Ghost and The Ghoul are still in jail, and unable to go on their annual jewel heist. This year they decided to watch a movie instead. For most of the second set, the band played behind a screen which covered the entire stage and projected 'Creature of the Black Lagoon'. The band performed an improvised jam along to the movie from behind the screen and the audience was only able to see their silhouettes. The annual costume contest breaking from tradition was not performed on the stage, but rather from a boat which was used as a prop inside the venue. The costume contest jam was played along to "The Ghost and the Ghoul" and contained "Ghostbusters" and "Rosa" (Baked Shrimp) teases.

This was night three of Big Shrimp’s six-night residency at RoadRunner in Bridgeport, CT, dubbed the Black Rock Special. The food special for the evening was Shrimp Disco Fries. “Rocky Raccoon” vocal jam contained “She’s a Bad Mama Jama” quotes. “Fumes” was unfinished. “We are Family” was jam and chorus only.
